What The Analytics Count

Measurement here is deliberately blunt. A small analytics script records anonymous totals only: how many times a page was opened, roughly which country the reader was in, and whether a link out to the GuruWalk walk was clicked. • You will find no signup form, no comment section and no newsletter box on any page. The contact page just opens the email program already on your device, so whatever you write goes straight from you and is never stored on a server this site controls.

Hosting

Like most small websites, this one sits on an external hosting service. That provider records routine technical data, such as IP addresses, as part of normal security and uptime practice. Nothing here goes further: the logs are not mined to profile readers, and no effort is made to connect an address to the pages browsed, whether someone is reading about Gas Street Basin or checking the opening pattern of the Barber Institute.
